This is a well made bar but I had trouble installing. After watching the video on site, I found out that the plate shown in the video is not included in the price. After contacting the manufacturer and Amazon customer service, I had to order an additional plate to complete the installation, which cost an additional $20. The installation was successful after I received the plate and I am very happy with it.

I installed this grab bar in my elderly mum's shower and it works great. It was easy to install; no major problems. It feels very light, but when you mount it on the wall (using all six screws) it feels very solid. I didn't trust the included installation mechanism. I found the plastic anchors too weak and the screws too long. I ended up buying a full set of dowels and (shorter) screws, as did many other reviewers. I was very satisfied with the overall result.
