This was my second shipment. Revane was kind enough to reorder. The old one had a disconnected wire to the dimmer, I tried to fix it but there wasn't enough wire to tighten it. The next time the thread on the section leading to the bulb won't let the section connect, I manage to grab 2 small threads to lock them in place. I am very very happy with this lamp I have several simpler lamps in my bedroom that have been used with incandescent bulbs for years and I always want to have a dimmable one so that I can adjust when I'm reading or just relaxing. One downside: It's hard to believe it's 2300 lumens. Perhaps this is due to the flat surface, which directs the light upwards rather than scattering it. Or it could be that the interior of the bulb area isn't reflective, so some of that light is lost through absorption (even if the interior is white, it's not the same as reflecting chrome).
