You get what you paid for.

This is a good screen, difficult to set up, a bit flimsy, it's normal for the price. Don't expect a professional viewing experience.

Pros
  • Ideal for drone control, 2D movie viewing, augmented reality and visually impaired applications
Cons
  • Almost never

Paired with a phone app such as the free Supervision for Cardboard, the headset can be used effectively as a magnifying glass or telescope. The choice of phone is important, but it doesn't mean expensive. Phone screen magnification etc can be controlled with a Revain mini remote for under Β£10. Commercial products designed specifically for the visually impaired (with built-in screens) can cost thousands of dollars. My choice for central vision loss due to macular degeneration. I have three! Pros
  • Provides peripheral attention through side windows and bottom opening
Cons
  • Sun Sun

Full screen without special programs!

For those with phone adapters, to give you a virtual reality experience you need a program that can be adjusted to where it shows two bubbles, but it actually does, so you can use your phone as is, no special software required. It takes some getting used to and is a bit stretched on the outsides/borders, but otherwise works great for what I was looking for. If I want to watch a film alone without disturbing anyone, that's fine! PS It also folds up for easy portability; The picture doesn't…

Pros
  • Touch screen activated through the bottom hole
Cons
  • No instructions
