Alright, I have a capacity issue

Made coffee last night and this morning. It makes a good cup of coffee. Although I was a bit surprised. He says its capacity is 12 ounces. I filled mine to the valve and it only held 10.5 oz. I wouldn't say it was a deal breaker. But if 10.5, then 10.5, not 12.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Delicious coffee/espresso!

I use a French press quite often. I changed the recipe/technique to get a strong, smooth and not bitter coffee. Here is the Gator Moka coffee pot! Add coffee, heat water, enjoy great espresso! It's easy to use, easy to clean and the price is right. Double insulated espresso cups make the process even more comfortable. Love it!

  • Price
Cons
  • Unsure

It's all about the cups!

I like the mugs that come with the kettle. Small cups are the perfect measuring tools to ensure you get the best shot of espresso. I'm a snob when it comes to coffee, I'll be the first to admit it. I like espresso because I can more clearly perceive the intended notes that accompany the coffee. With Gator I can achieve this goal.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Out of fashion

beautiful, especially the cups

I have three other moka pots and two of them are Bialetti made in Italy. This also seems to work. However, the real reason I wanted it was for the cups. The only other espresso/Turkish coffee mugs I can use in the field are enameled steel, and while they don't break once one of them is dropped, the enamel always breaks. They are durable and appear to be covered in rubber.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing

Makes a very weak cup of coffee

I bought this as I needed to replace my previous coffee maker and I liked the design. Tried it a few times and every time I got this weak, watery espresso mash. I'm by no means a coffee snob, but this was frankly undrinkable. It tasted weaker than Americano, although I drank it neat, and lacked the richness you normally get. I've added a picture so hopefully you can see how pale he came out. PS: The cups are great. That's the only reason it got 2 stars.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Quality mocha pot for the same price as a regular Bialetti. I haven't had time to comment on how well the hardtop withstands direct flames, but I will say it's a sharp looking device that can make a strong cup of almost espresso. it costs the entrance fee - they are so beautiful and so light they are included in my hiking gear. The pot will probably stay at home in the cupboard.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Can hurt
