🔥 Enhanced Monessen 26D0566 Gas Fireplace Thermopile Thermogenerator for Superior Performance Review

I had to drill out the bracket for my old thermocouple to fit this one. Since the threads disappeared after drilling to a larger size, I used a dab of epoxy to cement it in place. Seems to be working now, but unfortunately I didn't get the default size. I've been kicking Revane out lately. Returning things is a hassle, so I usually try to make them work or throw them in the trash.

Worked 100% right out of install, took 2-3 attempts to start gas magazines within weeks and completely failed to ignite gas magazines within 2 weeks. Switched to another brand and the gas logs ignited 100%, again confirming the source of the error. Update 1-20-19: The replacement still works great. Although the price is attractive, this thermopile does not fit in the bracket of my Perfection LP gas heater. The problem is that the ring in front of the threaded nut is too big in diameter to fit through. If I drill a hole in the bracket, I'll destroy the threads. I think I'll be at the parts supplier to test another unit. The photos on the net do not show whether another device fits.
