The cable on this VGA extender is thin which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you are looking for. The sheath on the cable isn't very strong but adds flexibility. I bought the 1" left side version of this adapter. What is not clearly visible in the above images is the huge bulge at the bottom of the male end of this adapter. It protrudes 1/4 inch beyond the rectangular case. It wouldn't be a problem on my old laptop (and not a problem at all on a desktop computer), but on my new laptop (Latitude 3400) it goes way below the bottom VGA port.
