I brought two cables with me, the so-called "Apple certified". The advertising of this particular product is misleading. These cables are not certified by Apple. They didn't even want to charge my iphone. Don't buy them. I threw them away and will not order from this seller again.

This cable is thin enough that I can close the console (in the middle) in the car without the cable getting in the way when I pull or tug.

I am completely satisfied with this product. It does exactly what is described on the Revain website. Quality and workmanship are excellent.

I use it specifically for my car because the USB port is in the center console storage compartment. The flat cable allows me to thread it through the locking cap without pinching it too much.

I've been looking for a cable like this, the original cables usually brake with a Lightning connector, this cable is strong, it seems to last a long time.

Monoprice usually sells pretty solid stuff. This is no exception. Update: Well, not for 3 months anyway. Then one morning I plugged in my iPhone and it beeped and displayed the message "This accessory may not be supported". and doesn't load. Tried my iPad: same result. I cannot recommend a cable that only lasts 3 months.
