Well made and durable

Bought to mount the monitor and keyboard closer to the CNC router. These poke and assembly parts are durable and well made.

Pros
  • Something is awkward about this

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Missing parts suitable for monitor stand

One of the brackets is missing an adjusting screw, spring washer and plastic sleeve. Now I have to try to figure out how to repack all the components into the return box with all that styrofoam.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • thin

I attached the stands to the Consul's heavy marble and steel table to match the location and desired orientation of my workbench. I already had a laptop mount which is shown in silver in the photo. So my workstation is actually two stands - one for my laptop and the Black Mongoose that I bought for my large, heavy monitor keyboard and mouse. My laptop could not support the weight of my monitor. As a designer who pointed out very expensive foldable keyboard trays, I'm very happy with it. For…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • too blunt

Good value for money but some minor flaws

This suits my needs but I'm using it a bit unconventionally in a drum set to help with recording rather than desktop setup . The hand holding the keyboard tray shakes. It works well enough for this application, but I don't want to type on it much. Similarly, in the lowest position, the tablet tilts toward you, so the mouse ALWAYS moves to the bottom edge. There's a lip to catch it, but it's poor design and a nuisance. There is supposed to be a way to loosen the action but the instructions are…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Extremely versatile very well built

In my life situation I don't have enough space for a desk but I found a way to attach it to a table that is used for other things and it works great. Full freedom of movement in almost all directions. The up-down angles seem to have the least range, while everything else seems to offer almost full 360-degree mobility, including very good height adjustment. The keypad will wiggle a bit if you apply too much pressure. So if this bothers you, plan for a secure location to install the keypad so it…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Durable

Not so much "sit/stand " as "stand/stand taller "

Things get a little springy when you lean on the keyboard tray (or gain a lot of weight), especially when it's fully extended, but for for the price it seems solidly made (it's not a $600 Ergotron). The instructions are a bit cryptic, but assembly went pretty smoothly. However, the design - especially the keyboard lever - leaves a lot to be desired. Some of my complaints are really unique to the way I try to use it - for example it's really designed to have a stand behind a monitor. Keyboard…
