Review on πŸ’» Black Monoprice Articulating Gas Spring Sit Stand Monitor and Keyboard Riser Desk Mount - 26 Inch Table Top Workstation, Easy to Use, Compatible with Most Desks by Ben Dixon

Good value for money but some minor flaws

This suits my needs but I'm using it a bit unconventionally in a drum set to help with recording rather than desktop setup . The hand holding the keyboard tray shakes. It works well enough for this application, but I don't want to type on it much. Similarly, in the lowest position, the tablet tilts toward you, so the mouse ALWAYS moves to the bottom edge. There's a lip to catch it, but it's poor design and a nuisance. There is supposed to be a way to loosen the action but the instructions are useless and I can't figure out how to adjust them so it takes quite a while to adjust the levers. Strength. The rest of the monitor arm is very solid. Those issues aside, it's very durable and made mostly of metal (the vertical tube and brackets are metal, while the cosmetic covers that cover them are plastic).

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
