Perfect match for shock absorbers

Perfect match for my 2002 Silverado 1500 LS. Super easy installation. Maybe 20 minutes and that was the first time I did it.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Safety

Monroe is all I've ever bought.

Monroe shocks are great shocks and I will continue to use this product, the truck line is new. If it says Monroe on it, then it's a good product.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Drives well. Should be easier to install.

Truck drives much better. Gone is the feeling of the boat and/or rocking when passing the doline. The only problem was that the stem is a bit shorter at the top than the stock shocks. I had to place a jack under the forearm to slide the upper arm into the mounting hole. I also had to enlarge the holes in the hub a bit to use the steel bushings that were on the original shocks.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Other Other

Hard ride for parts

If you own one of those old 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickups and fell in love with the handling. The fact that it drove smoothly, like a car. Then don't buy these dampers if you don't like rough riding. After I found out these old trucks came with special shock absorbers that give you a great smooth ride. I replaced them with factory AC Delco shocks and the ride is back. Monroe shocks went in the trash where they belong. It's not worth saving a few bucks.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

The shock absorbers did their job, the ride became smoother.

shock absorbers look good, I will install them today. However, one of the shocks was missing a bushing kit so I had to purchase one from my local parts store so would like a partial refund for purchasing an item that should have been included. I could return them but that would take too long and I need them today. After receiving the refund for the missing item, I have updated my rating to 5 stars. The shocks were very easy to install and made my ride smoother and less painful when going over…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Price and performance is a lot better than it looks

Pros: They appear to be quite well made. Their diameter is slightly larger than the series. So theoretically they have more damping oil. Now the potential is bad: they have very small rubber bushings and are much smaller than standard bushing cups. They were also badly scratched and dented. (but there were no boxes) They were new and unused. but they were pretty beat up. If I had time to wait I would send them back for another pair. but in the end I just installed them. I'm not entirely happy…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Has flaws
