Great trip! Smoothly process!

Excellent shocks. Installed on a 2005 Dodge RAM Laramie, RWD, single cab, short bed, 5.7L Hemi. They fit perfectly and have replaced this truck. Runs better than new! I wish I had replaced the stock shocks for those years.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • unreliable

Malfunction? for shock absorber

I ordered a replacement kit for OEMs in 85k. 1 of Monroe was knitted from the box. Revain's replacement policy was swift. I would recommend testing the shock before installing the bolts. Cut the attachment straps and compress with your weight to check for binding/squeaking.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • packaging is not nice

These appear to be good shock absorbers, time will tell

So far I like these shock absorbers. They are on my 2007 Ram 1500 and the ride quality is better as is the handling. However, I only fitted E-rated tires, which are very stiff, so I can't be sure about the ride quality improvement. On my Ram, I had to remove the spare tire to access the top screw on the driver's side.

  • Excellent construction

Worked great on a 2002 Dodge Single Cab

Worked great on a 2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 Single Cab 1500. Replaced original shocks at 86,000 miles. Improved road holding as I live on a long dirt road in rural Arizona. Not hard, more soft than hard. But it still cushions the road well. They literally look like paint and stickers as shown in the stock image.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Smooth Ride Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I replaced the stock struts after 110,000 miles and these Monroe Reflex shocks are just what the doctor ordered! The truck bounced along the road, responding to every bump; It's much quieter now and I can enjoy my truck again. I replaced the struts with a truck parked on my flat road and an impact wrench. It was very easy and a lot cheaper than going to the store. I will buy again once they wear out and will not hesitate to tackle the project again.

Good handling improvement, semi-rigid ride

I bought these to fit a 2005 long platform Ram 1500 Hemi. They replaced the original shock absorbers which have done approximately 190,000 miles. The difference was like day and night. The ride quality with these shocks compares to other "stock" truck shocks is firm but still forgiving. I've only carried lighter loads (300-400 pounds) with very little rear end sag. Even without the rear anti-roll bar, overall handling is better. I prefer better handling over a softer ride, that's greatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Great Rear Shock for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7L V6 Quad Cab

Purchased for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7L V6 Quad Cab. Truck was purchased in April 2015 with approx 92,000 miles. The front and rear shock absorbers were worn, causing the truck to bounce after contact with rough surfaces and bumps. I bought Monroe 911186 front and 911187 rear. Installation is fairly easy; Front and back can be knocked out in just over an hour. As you would expect, the difference in suspension feel was immediately noticeable. Now that it's been about 10 months and thousands ofโ€ฆ

Monroe 911187 Reflex Light Truck Shock โ€“ 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 4x4 great too. In fact, I liked the factory better. If, like me, you make a lot of empty runs: I wouldn't spend too much on a Reflex compared to the economy version. The technology is better and I'm sure they work better. but how much better is the question. When I have around 500-1000 extra pounds in the truck, performance is good. I haven't loaded the truck yet, so I can't comment on that. about 2 months before they broke and became

Great for Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Hemi

Bought these Reflex shocks to replace the stock rear shocks on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Hemi with 134,000 miles. The original shock absorbers were badly worn. Before installing these Reflex I installed a new set of Monroe 171111 Quick - Struts Assembly which is an OESpectrum on the front. With all the new shocks and struts, the ride is amazing. A good balance between handling, stiffness and comfort on the highway. Grip on the road like new. I have a 250 lb exercise machine over the bed thatโ€ฆ
