The processing quality is high.

Ideal for a room that only has an LED TV and cable box, or maybe a projector that needs to be plugged into an overhead outlet, or anywhere you don't want to fit a bulky surge protector if only one few sockets are required. I can't speak to surge protection capabilities at this point, but I haven't lost any connected devices to power issues yet, so maybe that says something.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Perfect for surge protector

Perfect for my wall mounted LCD TV. I installed an outlet directly behind it so that no wires can be seen when hanging the TV. I didn't need a regular surge protector to clip behind it, so it was perfect when I got it. It fits snugly onto the existing wall plate and is very flush. I'm happy with that. I even bought a second one and put it behind the fridge.

great compact surge protector

I bought one for my 60" LCD about a year ago. Oops. It's ok if someone has an entertainment console under the wall LCD which I don't have. To this one Dual socket I initially just plugged in the LCD I have now also plugged in a soundbar (see my Energy Soundbar Elite review) I ordered two more of these after originally ordering They are so useful when you just don't have a surge protector and all that goes with it Need cables with extension cords For anyone wondering, cable/satellite TV…

Pros
  • very impressive

  • boring packaging

Trusted quality and Revain helps you avoid the typically sky-high monster prices. Fits very well behind the MantleMount, no space problems. This is a simple, low capacity surge protector that only uses 1 outlet but covers 2, much to my slight disappointment. If you want to cover both outlets, use both. This unit replaced my bulkier monster unit that used both exits, but this could be due to cost reductions of the item. So far very satisfied. Even with the TV pulled out of the wall, the surge…

Extremely short lifespan!

At first I was very satisfied with this product. I used it in my microwave. My last microwave had a power outage. The LED display for time etc kept losing light so it ended up being difficult to read the time of day or cooking time. I wish that hadn't happened with my new microwave. Initially, the surge protection worked well. But last week things started to falter - less than 2 1/2 months later. There wasn't even a power outage when it started to fail. Of course it went out and the microwave…

Does it work for surge protection

We were looking for a surge protection outlet that can be built into the wall but decided on this after realizing that the outlets installed were only for one trip are suitable and then lose their overvoltage protection capability. After plugging the Monster Home Series LCD PowerProtect Monitor into a standard outlet behind a 19" wall-mounted TV, we found that the cord was bent too much, so my husband added an extra wall mount to fix it bring out the TV and the problem was solved! Now our TV is
