Does it work for surge protection
We were looking for a surge protection outlet that can be built into the wall but decided on this after realizing that the outlets installed were only for one trip are suitable and then lose their overvoltage protection capability. After plugging the Monster Home Series LCD PowerProtect Monitor into a standard outlet behind a 19" wall-mounted TV, we found that the cord was bent too much, so my husband added an extra wall mount to fix it bring out the TV and the problem was solved! Now our TV is protected!
