At first I was very satisfied with this product. I used it in my microwave. My last microwave had a power outage. The LED display for time etc kept losing light so it ended up being difficult to read the time of day or cooking time. I wish that hadn't happened with my new microwave. Initially, the surge protection worked well. But last week things started to falter - less than 2 1/2 months later. There wasn't even a power outage when it started to fail. Of course it went out and the microwave didn't work. I would have to turn the oven off and on again and reset the clock. The surge protector was still green. It was a couple of times, and then it went off and the surge protector stopped working completely. I didn't have the packaging so can't even contact the company to see what happened and if I can get a refund - I've been using surge protectors (not this brand) for years to power my computer, tv and other devices to protect. devices at my house. All lasted years, not months. Very disappointed.
