The product itself looked fine and would have worked with my fan but the surface of both main metal components was damaged and scratched which would have been visible and looked horrible once the fan was installed. I was very disappointed.

Adapter will not fit standard 3/4" ID bottoms. If you have a 3/4" ID bottom stem, look elsewhere. The description does not indicate that the adapter has a non-standard (atypical) size. I learned this the hard way, paid for shipping and had to pay shipping again to return it so it wasn't worth the time, money, hassle and escalation. An accurate and complete description will save you time and money.

Installed with a WET rated Weatherford outdoor fan on our covered outdoor porch (ceiling only). The ceiling is inclined at 10-20 degrees. Installation was easy and the product is quiet. You may only hear a faint low-frequency creaking with a decent, sustained outside wind due to the fan's tilt, but this is rare and the tilt is negligible.
