Great idea, bad execution.

Great concept, specs do not provide functionality as advertised. Doesn't solve duplicate photos. Photos are not automatically downloaded from the phone. Manually upload two photos and then freeze them. Not impressed at all. Many of the above requirements are not met.

Terrible product, don't buy it

The monument just doesn't work. After trying many times to connect to my Samsung S8, I updated Monument's firmware and then downloaded the beta version of the app. It finally found my bluetooth but couldn't connect to my 2.4hz wifi. Monument said the Wi-Fi could be weak, but it wasn't. They said to reset the router settings but it still doesn't work. The same day I connected the Nest smoke alarm to WiFi, it was very easy. TMonument should never be marketed. After reading similarly bad reviews I

Easy to install and works as expected

I copied all my 24k photos to disk and attached them to the memorial. The monument processed all my photos and analyzed them. Another process in progress. In addition, it must be recognized by the people. It takes a lot of time. Since I have a large collection of photos, I assume this process will be completed in a few days. During the initial setup, the monument updated the software. The blue light flashes for a long time. According to the manual action requested by the user in the…

Cumbersome installation: USB hubs

Not sure what market they are targeting. It requires a certain level of technical sophistication and commitment so that the person who can use it is the same person who doesn't need a hardware solution for it. was connected it supports (mostly requires) an HDMI output, but displays absolutely no useful information on the screen. I then had to update the firmware which caused the app to freeze. I couldn't continue because the app said I didn't complete the setup. I couldn't complete the setup…

Works slowly, very easy application.

At first I was excited to test this "Personal Cloud". Since I'm a software developer who also takes a lot of photos; I have a NAS at home that I use to back up all my computers and my photos. I thought a home system for automatically backing up my photos from our phones would be cool. I set up this system and even took the time to clean up a 2TB external hard drive to use as the "base" drive for this device. .When I first opened the app (it's a very basic app) it asked me to find a monument and

Obsolete, not yet finished

I was able to set up and operate the device without any problems. The only catch is that the device needs an HDMI port to connect to a display during setup. The display doesn't do anything, there's no functional reason for the display, it's just necessary. I'm under the impression that the underlying OS needs a display to boot properly, but the device itself doesn't use the display except to show an ugly wallpaper. The display is in no way part of the operation of the device. Does that mean we…
