Works great - Incandescent

Bought these to replace the Malibu lightbulbs outside my house. They work great and I've ordered extras as sometimes they burn out.

Cons
  • Expensive

Great value alternative

The Poly Star bulbs I need for my 'old style' Malibu low voltage bulbs are hard to come by and expensive when available. I found I could (carefully) pry the lens off the reflector and just replace the inside bulb with one of these - voila, my headlights work and it's worth my penny.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Got it

The emitted light has only a blue tone. I would like a deeper shade.

These bulbs are transparent. Although the color of the glass looks quite dark when it's off, the color it gives off when it's on isn't deep in my opinion, more like a cool white. Still better than a warm white transparent lamp, but wish the blue was deeper. If you didn't know that the fixture had blue bulbs installed, you could easily assume the bulbs were just cool white ones. In addition, the color finish of the lamp is applied to the outside of the glass bulb. The coating does not adhere…

Not Recommended Best in Bulbs

I have replaced all the landscape lights in my garden with these. The first problem is that each pack is a different blue color. Second problem after 2 weeks of use (note they only appear when it's completely dark outside) Some of them now look white. I'm returning them now. Very disappointed. I'd swap but who knows what blues I'll get back and if they'll turn out defective.

Pros
  • With 1 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Expensive

Pros
  • Excellent replacement low voltage landscape lighting bulbs sold in packs of 4.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Economical if you don't mind changing it often

I've been buying these for a couple of years now, for 2 Moonbeams 95725 street lights I have mine front greening. They work great (usually 1 of these burned out right after installation) and give off a nice warm yet bright light. Hours a night they burn out in about 30-38 days. Whereas the 10w T3 bulbs I bought for my two old Malibu landscape lights last 3-4 times longer (Vstar 10w T3 G4 Base 12v, 2500hrs, 10w 12v bulb, landscape (10 pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JZ3SLVC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap…

Pros
  • Blue 4 watt 40 lumens output
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
