Description of ๐Ÿ›น Moose Blank Skateboard Deck - High-Quality 7-Ply Maple Build - Natural Wood Finish - Available in 10 Different Sizes

Traditional 7-Ply Construction. The most common skateboard construction consists of seven layers of maple wood veneer, which are pressed and glued together with strong adhesive. Maple is a dense hard wood that provides excellent strength and pop, making it the tried and true standard for decades. Moose decks feature a modern shape. Full of pop, Moose boards have a mellow concave with steep kicks. The perfect combination of flex, stiffness, strength, and lightness. Moose decks come in a variety of sizes from 7.25โ€ to 9.0โ€. There are no hard rules on what size skateboard should be ridden. We recommend a small size deck (7.25โ€) for people with shoe size 6 and under. Full size skateboards (7.5โ€ โ€“ 9.0โ€) are recommended for skaters 13 and older. The most common size boards right now are 8.0โ€ or 8.25โ€. This a high quality skateboard deck that is simply devoid of graphics or artwork. This is not necessarily a lower quality deck than the average โ€œproโ€ deck, itโ€™s cheaper because the lack of graphics make the boards easier to produce efficiently. The savings is passed along to the consumer. Blank skateboard decks are especially attractive to artists or skaters that want to create their own graphics. This blank skateboard deck is essentially a blank canvas that is ready to be painted.

Wood panels cracked and ripped after 3 skate sessions

When I got to the skate park and started filming tricks I heard a small crack in the tail of the board and after a few minutes the whole tail , and the Wooden boards were divided into two large parts. Product defect or not, I paid $25 for it and the low price doesn't make up for the durability at all. Think wisely when shopping for skateboard decks.

seems amazing. Seems very strong even though I took mine.

The 7.5 inch board is significantly heavier than the 8 inch sugar board it replaced. I think it should be done with a cheaper process or materials than professional boards. It is surprisingly very heavy for its size. Seems very durable, although I've ditched my carts from it and converted it to a balance board instead and will be replacing my real skateboard deck with something lighter.

GREAT! Great price, great canvas for artwork!

I gave it 5 stars based on what I got it for. I didn't let it go, it was a canvas to paint on. In the end there were no cracks or chips. The size was accurate and the surfaces smooth. I love it and will probably order another one to paint again one day. Mine came out completely natural but to be honest I wouldn't worry about it no matter the color. I was actually hoping for pink or some other bright color. I would mask off the edge of the panel with masking tape before painting so that afterโ€ฆ

at first glance the board looks alright, camber and concave are right

i've been skating for a long time and have tried many different decks. This is the first time I've tried buying a budget deck as a little experiment to see for myself what the difference is. She is huge. At first glance, the board makes a good impression, click and concave are okay, but it's brittle and doesn't give much. I broke this board in the second hour of the third day of riding doing a trick on flat ground that I would have landed on any other deck. If you're actually trying to use this

A quality board that takes a lot of abuse for the money, well worth it!

This is a great deck for street or park or whatever type of use you need it for, sturdy, good quality, nice cool backing, with a rounding around the bolt hole area to make them less " Have bite" "This is the second time I've bought one of these decks, the first one I've used for a few years and ridden it hard and it still hasn't broken a 'razor tail' on either end , but it can still be used, but since the price is so cheap I just miss buying a new one to start again and keeping the first one as

Board split after 3 months of light use

I bought a Moose blank for my 78lb 11 year old son. It arrived in good condition. However, after 3 months the soundboard delaminated on one side in the middle (and not at the end). The stratification was not done by any tricks. My son has only ridden the board about 10 times in those 3 months. I only noticed once that the board was layered. I understand that decks can wear down with heavy use, but this looks like a manufacturing defect. None of his other 4 solid boards flaked off. Boards ofโ€ฆ
