💧 Mopar 52129436AA Vapor Canister Seal: Superior Quality and Leak-Free Performance Review

After driving around with GASCAP light leak and evaporator codes for the last 7 months wondering if my Jeep was dying, this $5 thing put my worries out of my mind.

The rating may need to be changed but the gasket is significantly thinner (in thickness) than that which caused the check engine light to come on. Time will tell if the new one works.

This gasket is required when replacing the Evaporator Leak Detector. Old rubber lies under the Jeep and collects dirt and grime over the years and becomes brittle over time. You therefore need a new seal for your detector.

I've been struggling with evaporator and tank light bulbs for a year. Replaced the vaporizer parts, gas cap, checked all the plumbing multiple times and was about to give up and pay for the smoke test. Inspection failed. Bought this pad as a last resort and of course the issues are now resolved!
