Appears to be of good quality. Anyone need a dog?

I accidentally bought this knife in my pocket and wanted to return it. But my amazing, very smart, absolutely no big pain in my ass, dog ate the pen before I could print the return label, so I now have a slightly "modified" version. The handle, apart from the lack of large dog-teeth sized chunks, is thick dense cork and looks great. It fits my hand very snugly, not as snugly as the jaw of an 80 lb mongrel with a mouth guard, but quite snug. The truncated tip is a bit odd, I think it's forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The cork polymer coated handle provides buoyancy and grip, and the bright orange color makes it easy to find the knife if lost in the water
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

STAINLESS STEEL FLOATING KNIFE FOR PREP IN MINUTES

ADVANTAGES: MORAKNIV is made of stainless steel and has a lifetime guarantee. What a big promise. The cork handle is comfortable to hold and dries quickly. I had no problem using this ferro bladed knife after two minutes of milling the back of the knife with a Mill Bastard style file. I was happy that both the knife and sheath float, I wasn't sure if the sheath would float. The sheath has a great design, perfect for my belt and this knife. Light weight, stainless steel and buoyancy make thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Serrated blade for cutting rope, fiber, nylon and other materials; rounded blade tip and finger protection prevent injuries
Cons
  • I say nothing

Don't expect to fend off rogue pirates with Morata's first expensive knife.

Was very disappointed to see that this knife did not meet usual Mora standards. I have several Mora knives and I love every single one of them. And don't get me wrong, there are good things about the knife that I like: light weight, floating surface, rounded tip, good visibility. But the main thing is the shaft. It almost doesn't exist. You can feel the shaft flexing in the cork grip and it seems like it's only a matter of time before the cork starts to break as it isn't reinforced with corkโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 3.7" fixed blade swimming knife with serrated stainless steel blade and blunt end for boating, fishing and marine work
Cons
  • Zero
