I bought these boxes for two items: cakes and cheesecake. This is normal for cakes as their shape rests on the side flaps that go in easily, it's a nightmare for a cheesecake that is out of shape and therefore has the side flaps pressing against it. I had to take the time to tape each side down with some strips of tape because the flaps just won't stay down!

They were perfect for my cakes. They are exactly 9" tall and hold a traditional 9" cake using a disposable aluminum pan. The fit leaves no extra space on the sides of the box. That's a good thing because the cake doesn't slip when you wear it. I also think it's good that the window on the lid of the box is somewhat decorative in the cutout. It adds a bit more to the look than a regular square haircut.

I was out of stock and needed something fast. I use these stylish boxes in my bakery to store 8x8 aluminum baking pans and 9 inch cakes. Despite being the right size and having a window, they are ridiculously NOT stable. The box is absolutely paper thin and there is no support or rigidity in the construction.
