Poor quality for belt

The main advantage of this belt was that it was made of high quality leather. This is a top grain and I rate it at around 8 ounces. Thickness. Good for garter belts. I have a problem with iron. The buckle is cheap over cheap. Only slightly harder than tin or lead. Simply detaching and reattaching over the past month or so has caused the barb to curve into a large "U" shape. I fixed it by squeezing it again with a hammer, but now that the metal is warped it's only a matter of time. Good…

Pros
  • 10oz or 4mm thick vegetable tanned leather with a beautiful vintage finish that will age well and retain a warm patina over time. A classic leather belt for everyday wear never goes out of style.
Cons
  • Appearance

NO FULL GRAIN LEATHER

Although the name "full grain leather" suggests this belt is actually "real leather" and is marked on the inside of the belt. I see some of the other comments saying it is indeed a whole grain, but I am disappointed to learn that it is not. Genuine leather is typically low quality, bonded leather scraps that will wear and separate rather than age and develop a patina.

Pros
  • High quality, hand polished vintage full metal buckle with full grain cowhide leather. 100% Real Leather.
Cons
  • Low repairability

Top Quality!: Accessory

Looks like the original. I hope this belt will last for many years to come. High quality leather, durable buckle. 6/6/17 The leather on the belt is of very good quality, but the belt buckle is annoying. The centerpiece that fits into the holes on the belt is brass (so soft). I had to bend it straight several times and then the other end that connected to the buckle broke on its own. Let's see if I can bet it's fixed (could cost more than it's worth). Pity!

Pros
  • Zipper
Cons
  • No mold required

Beautiful grain, durable belt.

I'm so glad I found this belt - over the past few years I've been let down by high quality leather department store belts ranging from $50 to $70. Sounds good right? Not correct. Quality leather straps are beautiful to look at, but they are less than a millimeter thick layer of good leather that is glued to faux leather or tip leather (which are tiny pieces of leather that are glued and pressed together). As a result, after a few months, the belt inevitably stretches, the layers begin to…

Pros
  • The practical buckle exchange system makes this strap versatile for all occasions.
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

Don't waste your money on this cheap belt

Don't waste your money on this cheap belt. After about 1.5 years the complete belt buckle broke. I've never heard of a belt breaking this way and so quickly. I have an untitled belt that I bought unused from Goodwill that has lasted over 10 years. I will certainly no longer be relying on Belts.com products.

Pros
  • Full Grain, Genuine Leather, Leather, Cowhide
Cons
  • Some Trouble

Best belt I have ever had

I have had this belt for about 3 years now and I can say with 100% certainty that it is the best belt I have ever had. I was involved in building these straps for the first 2 years and now plumbing. Before I wore a tool belt, I had no problem hanging drill bits and measuring tape right on my belt. Even now that I don't use drills that much, my belt is always securely attached to my belt. I also carry a multi tool in my bag as well as a pocket knife, wallet, keys, phone and tons of accessories…

Pros
  • Assembled in USA
Cons
  • Some imperfections
