☕ Espresso Upholstered Backless Vanity Stool by Morgan Wood Review

I love the look of this stool. Easy to assemble for my husband. Nice color and good wood. My only issue is that the fabric on the seat has creases. It seems there is too much fabric so it is loose.

Bought for placement in a large dressing room. Ideal for sitting and putting on socks and shoes. It is a bit difficult to attach the footrest with the screws provided. As a result, I re-drilled the holes and put another screw.

My package was shorted 2 washers (detail c) and screws (detail d) are too short to attach the box frame to the pillow. They should be about 1/4 inch longer. I will return this item if I do not receive the correct parts.

This bench is terribly flat. We put it together very easily on Wednesday evening, and it broke on Saturday morning - the piece of wood broke at the "X" point. My husband has an average human weight of 6ft 1 and has only sat on a stool to put his shoes on twice when the tree is about to "give".

The stool is new, my wife and I have sat on it 3-4 times. None of us are heavy. I am under 170 pounds. I wasn't even sitting on it when it collapsed, just leaning on it. The leg broke right where the crosspiece enters the legs. The processing quality is very questionable. Didn't exchange, asked for full refund.

I bought this stool to use in my remodeled bathroom cabinet. It is perfect and looks just like the picture. It was easy to assemble and the color of the wood matches my dark wood cabinets. Each leg has a rubber tip at the end to avoid scratching the tiled floor. The seat is pretty sturdy so I expect it to hold up well and the fabric is a nice neutral beige. I am very happy with this purchase.

Nice chair but 4 screws holding the seat to the wooden frame are TOO SHORT! They do not fit into the bottom of the seat as advertised so the seat cushion cannot be attached rendering the product unusable. The only thing that makes it good is the longer 45mm bolt. Bought longer screws and BINGO! WHY ON HEAVEN WAS THE NAME NOT PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. The manufacturer, Hillsdale furniture, didn't care, when I contacted them told me to contact Revain! I am so disappointed with this stool. I've built an entire kitchen so I know the basic tools. The package includes a threaded sleeve to attach the screw to the sides of the legs (this should already be built into the frame when you receive the stool disassembled. It wasn't easy to find a replacement for one of these.
