I bought these clips because I got tired of poking sewing needles when making cloth masks, but I can think of many other uses for these cute colored clips! A handy clear container, each clip is about 1" long with a very strong grip!

I'm old school and have been sewing for many years. I saw that these clips are now being used instead of straight pins and wanted to try them. The first one I opened was broken so I realized I had to be careful when opening it. They hold fabric up to 1/2 inch thick and measure a seam depth of 5/8 inch when the fabric is fully inserted into the clamp. They're great for fabrics that are difficult to pin together or if you're concerned a pin might break the needle while sewing.

, I used all 100 plus about 30 from another box. On the outside edge of the 98x98 quilt I "created". In other words, the sewn backing, batting and quilting right side together, leaving enough room to turn right side out. It's not always as easy to get a smooth edge as it is to close with a binder. These clamps held everything exactly where it needed to be even and smooth. I have used them for mounts, mats and coasters. I used them for patchwork. No more getting stuck in pins.
