Clean looking parts

I bought one of these kits a few months ago for another Yamaha blaster I had. Works great and eliminates the nasty cable clutter on the handlebars.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked as stated.

Does what it promises. It takes a bit of work to install, but once installed it will make a world of difference. Not as good as hydraulics, but much better than stock.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I will add later

Yamaha Blaster Rear Brake Cable

Arrived on time. Replaces and eliminates the front lever from working rear brakes. The front brakes are now much lighter and the rear ones really work. How good is a mechanical disc. Almost straight to the instructions. Be sure to put anti-capture on threads to save yourself a headache later. Would recommend to anyone with a 2002 or older Blaster.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Boom Shakalaka! for parts

Worked exactly as I expected. I drove when the track was very wet. Next time I rode the Blaster without the rear brakes. It didn't take me long to search the internet to realize that this is a common problem with Blasters. After using the shorty cable, I can lock the rear wheels at any speed by applying the brake. Works perfect. There's a great YouTube video where the guy tells you exactly what to do to install. Search: Yamaha Blaster Rear Brakes + Short Cable Installation Hope this helps.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Security
