Bought this adapter to bleed the brakes on my mom's ram and my daughter's jeep. It leaked a little but was able to hold enough pressure to complete the bleeding. Just had to wrap with a rag or two. I'll come up with a more reliable solution before the next bleed.

Works like a charm. Bought to bleed the brakes on my 2002 Jeep - worked great, might do my 2014 next month depending on the weather. pressure held. I urge you to purchase 1/4 quick couplers for ease of positioning and moving between vehicles. It's like a $10 item at Lowe's or Home Depot. Just piss.

Not so much an overview of the product as how it works. Good price for a light user. However, Motive really doesn't do a good job when it comes to customer support. Bleed adapter recommendations and descriptions are minimal and don't seem to bother to answer customer questions. Questions like "What goes with my 2019 Subaru?" Nothing so far.

This kit can use a smart gasket to create a secure seal on the fluid reservoir as it slowly depressurizes. Other than that, I was able to flush my 2002 Ram in 10 minutes! I love it when a product exceeds my expectations as I never thought that cleaning the brakes would be as easy as I have done the old fashioned way with two people at the pedal in the past. This makes this task a quick one-man job.

The plastic cover is fine, but the rubber gasket that came with it wasn't thick enough to seal it on my 2016 Cherokee. And using both is too thick. Luckily I had a rubber sheet from another project that worked. You will of course need this item if you want to pump, but be prepared that you may have to do the sealing yourself. For reference I used 3/16" neoprene with a durometer of 30A (nice and soft for a good seal). McMaster has 6" x 6" squares for about $10. Cheaper tires will probably do as…
