Description of Motivx Tools Profile Filter Socket

Low profile 3/8" drive 36mm socket for removing oil filter caps or any other use where a low profile is desired. Made from forged steel alloy, CNC machined for a perfect fit, and finished in satin chrome. Dual marked size with both a large easy to read laser engraving and a traditional stamped size. Extra large corner reliefs cut on both the 6 point and 3/8" drive end to prevent binding.

Motivx Tools 36mm Low Profile Oil Filter Head

Works as promised on my VW Passat 2.0T 06 and 08 carbon plastic oil filter cover, avoiding cracking of the cover. You can also replace the stock cap with the aluminum cap I put on my 08.

Exactly as advertised

Good quality socket, looks well made. Smooth metal surface without cuts and burrs. The only downside is the imperfections in the satin silver which has 2 or 3 round spots that look like corrosion. Surprising as it was boxed and barely exposed to the elements.

Fits perfectly! Best of the Oil Filter Wrenches

Bought to change the oil in my 2012 Porsche 997.2 TTS (911 Twin Turbo). Fits perfectly! The nest depth is also good. The 3/8" extension does not extend beyond the socket like the others I have purchased. For the price of €11.00 you can't go wrong. That's better than paying a Porsche dealer $200 for an oil change. Yes, $200

The low profile allows the filter cartridge to be reached with enough clearance to make the job easier. Very difficult without it

If you need a 36mm socket to pull out the oil filter cartridge on a Volvo this tool is for you! The low profile allows the filter cartridge to be reached with enough clearance to make the job easier. Be really hard without it!

Sturdy and well made

Need a 36mm 3/8" drive socket for the axle nut on my bike. (Most 36mm sockets are 1/2" drive) I had some doubts on strength but it's more than enough.Nice heavy head that loosened my axle nut with no problems even though it was quite frozen and I had to put a lot of weight/force on it.Seems to be very well built.
