Good Price Oil Filler Cap

Motorad makes great parts, fits perfectly and looks just like the original just without the Chrysler symbol and at a great price

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Some Cons

Doesn't fit right. I don't know what type.

Not suitable. I don't know what type that o-ring failed to seal because I didn't have an o-ring. Need big channel locks to install and remove every time. One star for dust protection.

Pros
  • Permanent finish
Cons
  • Other

What a wonderful hat!

The best cover to replace the original cover I left on the generator and forgot, then I ordered this and when fitting a new one I found the original lying on the engine block. I would buy it even if I didn't lose my original, it's freaking awesome!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • A bit of a change

Same as OEM on parts

Same as OEM in every way. I bought this for my 2002 Jeep Liberty Renegade as the original was tight on cash and no dealer near me stocked them. I have to say this is spot on and is an exact replica of the OEM version in every way. Nothing to say except that it works and I would happily buy it again if needed.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some bugs

Works perfectly, but pay attention to the labeling!

I lost my 2007 Dakota oil filler cap. This went on without delay; it's a little tight, but it does the job. However, you must be aware that the top of the cap may have different markings, and this can lead to oil fillers (and you!) using the wrong viscosity oil. in your engine. As far as I can remember the one I have says 5W-20 and the one that came with my engine says 5W-30. Oil, regardless of what it says on the lid.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Use caliper grease around the filler seal.

This item seals well and is supplied by OEM supplier Mopar. Much cheaper than the branded version, but absolutely indistinguishable. like all caps for 3.7l and similar it is almost impossible to remove and even install dry. I use Versachem 26080 Synthetic Caliper Grease to make it easier to remove without damaging the gasket or engine (this grease is ultra high temp and oil free so it won't destroy the gasket and won't wash/melt in the engine itself). Engines are very sensitive to vacuum leaks…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
