No O ring! Best in Transmission Filter

Just wanted to let everyone know. I just bought this filter and yes it is OEM Motorcraft in the box and everything except no o-ring. So just use the ones you have I guess.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Nothing Here

Item is not Motocraft

Motocraft Box but no filter and no o-ring with filter. If I had known that, I would have just gone to the parts store and bought it for $3 more and a week earlier.

Motor Craft parts only

Perfect for my length f 250, fits without o-ring, old one can be reused. not just Motor Craft parts for me... not cheap, good value for money. You don't want to pay the price for a new transmission.

Pros
  • Test for one year

Filters and better fluids = lots of miles for every moving part

Fits my 2005 Ford F-350. I think it was 22mm to remove the cover. Many people refer to this as an overpriced toilet paper roll, and it may be true, but the body that surrounds it also has a magnet to collect particles. Magnets, filters and better fluids = lots of miles for each moving part!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

So much money for a roll of TP.

I have a 2005 Ford F250 that I have upgraded the transmission to a 2008+ oil pan and filter. I just wanted to get rid of that little paper roll filter, but I think double filtering is better. This filter does not come with a body o-ring, so be careful not to break it up and throw it away. You will need to use an impact gun and a 22mm socket to loosen the cup from the body and remove the filter. If you try to use a regular ratchet, the bracket can bend and even detach from the bracket on the…
