This filter WILL NOT FIT my 2013 F150 6R80 5L Transmission as stated by Revain! A hard bug to swallow after you have to work. My attached photos are of the Revain filter and a side-by-side comparison of my original filters. - The filter advertised here at Revain is the best filter (FT-187) - My original filter. is the bottom unit. filter is good but there is no gasket in the "kit" filter. got a pad. I also don't think it should be called a filter kit unless it is. It's a filter, or at least that's all I have. The seal is also difficult to find separately, had to go to the dealer.

Gasket marked as reusable. I have a problem. I ordered it for my 2016 F150. Raven said he would. The seller said it would fit. It's not like this. It's too late to return now. Please note that there are two types of filters available for the 2016 F150 2.7L Ecoboost with 6 Speed Transmission. One does not hang out and has 2 connections. This is screwed on and has 1 port. The Ford dealer told me it's impossible to tell which one you need until you drop the pan.

Ford Genuine Transmission Filter comes without a new replacement transmission seal. The Car Quest transmission filter comes with a transmission pan gasket. But all my friends told me I would ruin my transmission if I didn't go back to the Ford transmission belt filter. Anyway, I removed the oil pan a second time, but this time I installed a high-volume AFE transmission pan as I installed a Ford brand transmission filter, which seems cheaper than a Car Quest filter.

I am not giving 1 star because the filter is bad but because Revain said it would fit my 2016 F150 Ecoboost 3.5 FX4 and it is the wrong filter. I need FT188 for my truck. Maybe it works with two wheel drive or one that isn't a max tug, I'm not sure, but it's completely different. So I have to return it now and find a suitable one in the parts store tomorrow morning. I do these projects on the weekends and I don't live near the store so it's a major inconvenience.

Mine never came with an AT seal like some of the other reviews and it really stinks as I had to source locally. The "kit” only includes the filter itself. Yesterday I changed the filter, it took about an hour. My truck is a 2012 F250 6.7L and it's a late build so I used an 8L Mercon V for starting, engine starting/shifting and checking the fluid level.
