Impressive Thermostat for Automotive

I am thoroughly impressed with this thermostat. It is a great replacement part for my old one, and it has significantly improved the engine cooling of my automotive. The installation process was easy and fast, and it is built with high-quality materials. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive compared to other thermostats, but it's worth the investment for its outstanding performance. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I would highly recommend!

Pros
  • Allows the engine to reach and maintain optimal operating temperature.
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with certain vehicle models.

Good Genuine Parts - Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

This is a genuine Motorcraft OE Thermostat and Gaskets with instructions for correct installation adjustment. The thermostat gasket was correct, but on the car I was working on (Freestyle '05), the other gasket (blue) used to attach the water outlet housing to the water pump was too thick and wouldn't let the housing penetrate the pump, so I had to reuse the old one.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost Never

You can't go wrong with genuine parts, I don't trust that.

Don't go wrong with original parts, I no longer trust thermostats in the aftermarket, too many rejections, but not with original parts. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the seals were too hard. Blue is used between the water pump and the plastic outlet/thermostat housing and it was so hard that the housing couldn't sit flush with the water pump and I ended up cracking the housing which cost me $80 more for a new one. ...And it's not a 190-degree thermostat, it's 180…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
