I ordered this thermostat for my 2007 Ford Focus because I didn't want to risk buying an aftermarket product and I didn't want to do this repair again. Product arrived in 2 days. I have 04 Focus /2.3L with original T-Stat. Problem - I have problems with idling and overheating. The car's engine temperature did not exceed 165 degrees while driving at 55 mph in an ambient temperature of 60 degrees, "BUT" overheats at idle for 10 minutes. Put the old stat in hot water, heat it to 205 degrees and finally open it. Place the new Motorcraft RT1193 T-Stat in hot water, heat to 185 degrees and open.
