Motorcraft WG308 motor and pump fits 2009 Escape

Pretty easy install. Remove the lower fender mounts and some bumper bolts. You should be able to close your hands and replace.

With the help of some YouTube videos I was .

With the help of a YouTube video I was able to install it myself. This was exactly the part needed to solve the problem of the nozzles not spraying on the windshield or rear window.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance

Perfect replacement

This item was identical to the factory installed version of the pump motor on my 2012 Ford Escape XLT and matched the washer fluid reservoir perfectly. Installation can be a little tricky if you're just removing the wheel arch liner, but it's easy to install once the old pump is removed.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Obsolete

DID NOT WORK!: Spare parts

When installed it didn't work/faulty - ended up having to go back to the shop to have it removed and replaced. Very disappointed - this should have been an OEM part from Ford Motorcraft and should have worked fine. I spent a lot of money checking the circuit for problems and this new part turned out to be no good.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fits 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid

The original washer pump for my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid failed and I decided to give it a try. Works perfectly. Installation was a little more difficult than I thought due to the location of the washer pump on the Escape. Surprisingly, you have to partially remove the front bumper to get to the washer pump. Once I had access to the washer pump, installing the washer pump was not a problem.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Easy to install and replace.

The one I bought for a 2008 Ford Escape lasted about 2.5 years. It was a lot cheaper at Revain then in the shops. Installation was easy; removed the right hand wheel arch clips to detach the plastic while removing the right side of the bumper, pulling slightly to leave room for access. There was no need to completely remove anything from the car. Disconnect the switch and hoses. ***Note the tubing, but these should be sure to be color coded with the pump connector.

Pros
  • change price

It can't be your pump. Look for tank debris.

Works, but it turned out that the washing liquid was clogging the filter. I had signs of pump failure, which is rare. filter block. I cleaned the filter, but since I left the tank in the car, I didn't realize that the entire back wall was stuck in that junk. The first time I sprayed the hose to flush the tank, it didn't come off. Everything seemed fine at first, but then within a week I went back to square one and found it wasn't the pump at all. I have used a brush on a long flexible wire to…
