Works great - accessories

It's no wonder my GoPro 4 vibrates at certain motor speeds, but the 7 Black's motion stabilization eliminates it completely. Simple, robust design and convenient mounting position.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A few niggles

A nice mount that should suit your needs.

Installed on 2020 R1250 GSA. There are no installation problems. However, I replaced the Gopro 4mm x 6mm mount screws with 12mm screws. I also used nylon locknuts. The supplied bolts and non-locking nuts were too short and not very secure (the bolt threads were flush with the nut). It's not safe enough for me and my $350 camera. Spend an extra $2 at Lowes on the right gear and feel better knowing your camera will stay secure and not fall off while you ride.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • No instructions

Fits my 2005 GS

I knew it wasn't designed and sold for my year model but I was able to fit it (see photo). Not 5 stars b/c: The mounting holes weren't spot on, I had a hard time fitting the Go Pro mounts into it. The bracket is supplied unassembled with no instructions, nuts should be lock nuts for high vibration motorcycle conditions (I used Loctite). It works well. The camera stays in place and vibration is almost minimal (thanks in part to image stabilization). Overall I'm satisfied, but it could be better.

Great design, easy to install

This is an inexpensive, well designed and easy to install mount to securely attach your GoPro to your 1200 GS. You insert two screws to mount the GoPro, apply some Loctite to the threads and tighten the nuts. You remove the thick T30 torx while holding the LEFT turn signal, slide the U-hole over the turn signal wires, and slide the bracket past the turn signal assembly. Replace the torx screw and you're done. My 2017 GSA bike and it worked perfectly. If you look at the one star photos you can…

Cannot be installed; hard to return

Installing the Go Pro mount on a headlight mast is beyond the average DIYer. You will need to remove the right or left directional light pole (easily with a T30 wrench), then you will need to thread the electrical wire through the hole and then reattach the bracket to the light pole. See photo. Too many problems for me to install this mount on a camera that would be dangerous to reach in this position while driving. Then. How can I return it if it is not included in your orders? Hm? Right. I…
