The switch to turn on the lights is actually off to stop the engine, but you have to press the 'off' button to turn the engine on start. Foolproof design.

Wrong internal wiring, no big deal but it tells me there is no quality control and it will probably fail soon. I will try something different and spend some more money, got what I paid for

Does exactly what I need. Turns the Acerbis light on and off on my KTM XC-F with solid clicks. Satisfied. EDIT *** A month later the contact inside stops working and the thing is dead. Angry!

I run about 1 amp through the headlight and LED brake light switch. The contacts in the switch were worn out and stopped making contact after about 50 on/off operations. Very disappointed. Left me stranded at night and had to lug my bike home because I couldn't turn on the light.

I bought one of these (red) switches to control the high beams which was added to my CB1100A. It worked so well I bought another for my FZ6R and another for my VF750C. The first two worked very well. Don't always think it's what you made it. I tried this switch as an emergency switch on a mini bike. Well, after careful installation, the engine did not start in any position. I turned off the switch and tested it with an ohmmeter. It shows continuity in both positions, which means that the contacts in the switch are bridged.
