Pegs work well. The brackets don't hold the handlebars they're mounted to well enough that they don't slip and I had to pin them down to keep them from rotating. Folding up and down can bear a little more stress to keep them from falling off by themselves.

Was a waste of money for me because these clamps don't tighten onto the 1" engine guard bar. as advertised. The clamp design is cheap in my opinion, with an electroplated hinge (and it will rust) which seems typical of this class of road peg. They should supply seals. I've tried some homemade pads with no success. as the clip is stretchy and will NOT compress the engine guard enough to stay in place when your foot is resting on the footrests.

Despite claiming to fit Hondas with 1" downtube, the clamps do not fit my 2019 Honda Rebel 500. After trying a couple of times to end up with a mounting plate for the motor mounting bolts To make the down tubes I was able to find a heavy duty 2" steel L brace at the hardware store that already had holes in the right places and use the bottom L to keep the brace from rotating on the bolt. Frame clamps not tight enough to prevent them from moving under road vibration/pressure from my feet. I'll try to put the bushings, I hope then they will fit into place. Otherwise I like the pens, especially how they fold up when I don't need them. UPDATE: I was trying to install a metal bushing and when tightening the clamp screw the clamp broke. It's very cheap soft metal (pot metal?) and wouldn't last long anyway. So now I have a kickstand on my bike and it's not secure and can't be repaired

Running Boards excellent; I have a similar version on my old bike and I really liked it. These clamps, which are included with this version/manufacturer, are made of loose aluminium. They broke during installation. Failure to properly tighten the bolts will cause the footpegs to "walk" under slight foot pressure, which can be dangerous. If you try to tighten the screws properly, the clamps on the hinges will break. If the cleats work properly this is a good set of road pegs but broken cleats…

I bought this product in June 2021. I installed it at the end of July. By the end of August they had become unsure. This product came with no instructions and installation was not entirely intuitive.
