This cap is nice, I like the way it looks on the tank but it is difficult to open in hot weather. There isn't much to grab when you lift the pivot/opening part.

Ideal for road use with a stretched fuel center. The only thing that's worrying is that the thing hasn't kept its shine. It's already a dull black color. I will probably replace and hope this one keeps its finish like the original

It worked fine at first, installed it on my tank and after a day it stopped showing up. It took me 10 minutes at the gas station to unscrew it from my tank because the center piece was stuck in the body of this thing. Went home and checked. I don't know if it's a weak spring or something. That does not work. It is dangerous to put it in the tank so as not to unscrew it later without tools.

This fuel cap was very easy to install. That's the only good thing I can say about him. Its finish is universal. After repeated use, it becomes more and more difficult to get the center to surface. Once you put it back in and twist it, it gets stuck and sinks under the ring, which looks awful. It's very difficult to get it right. Lesson learned. You get what you pay for. Save your money and get a decent one.

The lid itself is well made, looks stylish and works as described. To tighten, turn the small knob clockwise until it stops, then push down toward the reservoir to conceal and continue turning clockwise to lock. The flush look is great! I have a 2013 Iron 883. As my tank aged, a ring formed around the gas tank from the previous cap. The new cap is cool but a little smaller so you can see the harness. It's minor for me but might make someone hesitate.

This is a nice cap and concept but I have a few complaints. First, there were some imperfections on the chrome trim (guess you get what you pay for). Second, it didn't work! My wife has a Sportster 07 but when you try to tighten the cap the vent tube in the filler neck hits the bottom of the cap before it tightens onto the tank without fully closing. Bad design! Needless to say I had to send it back which leads to my third complaint, I had to pay for return shipping even though they state it…

This item is good for fitting a bike that needs a hubcap before selling it to someone else quickly. The lid fits well, does its job as advertised. I think it has multiple rubber pads for different uses. Shiny and chrome. Working parts work as they should and are stated. Well, from the looks of it, it's not fit for a high-end motorcycle installation. It doesn't sit quite flush, I'm picky, that's not much. A bit difficult to turn in a flush or seated position. One star for warmth lol maybe…
