Unit is pictured with a 9 volt battery but it is not included, I was expecting it to at least come with key fob batteries. But that's not the case. It is non-magnetic, or the magnet used is iron ceramic. The device is also not very loud.

Works right out of the box! I've had people stealing fuel from my big van and this alarm goes off as soon as there's the slightest vibration near the gas cap. The remote controls work perfectly. Thank you for an inexpensive way to protect my truck. It was a lot cheaper than the $136 gas cap I bought.

The 9 volt battery didn't hold a charge but I put in a Duracell 9 volt battery and this unit works. Can't ask for more for the price paid. Works as advertised. You can't go wrong ordering one of these. I use it on my bike and didn't really have room to mount it under the seat so I just put the front fender on and if someone wanted more of the bike it would set off the alarm. The alarm clock is also very loud, louder than expected. Thanks.

Used on the inside of gun cabinet doors. I'm happy with the result. I wish it had a sensitivity adjustment but it seems adequate. (I want to make it a little more delicate.) It comes with double-sided tape, but when you change the battery for the first time, you have to tear it off. (Unless you put some tape on the edge or something.) I used the built in magnet to attach it but it slipped off the metal surface. I put a rubber band on the back to give it some support and now the magnet is doing…

Places this on the inside door of a converted "Reverse" bus to deter casual thieves. Alarm clock, it's easy to set and turn off the alarm clock with the two included remote controls (the alarm clock also has an activation switch on the box). The alarm clock is a decent decibel. I just wish it was louder as I've been using it internally. Should work well on the bike, can't compete with the price, even bundled with a 9V battery.
