This home phone is not very good. Doesn't keep time. Not very loud. The answering machine doesn't work at all. Bad product.

Bought as a gift for my aunt. Imagine how embarrassed I was when she opened the box and there was only one battery in the kit.

Bought for the lock knob but it's just for looks. I was very dissatisfied with this phone. Now you need to buy another phone to set it up.

Update: Great phone. It works perfectly. Great addition for use in the home office. Ignore negative reviews. Pick up the phone, you won't regret it.

I really like these phones. Good quality. The only problem is that the display has small fonts in the background, which can be difficult to see if you have poor eyesight.

I needed another cordless phone because mine was out of order. Not related to the battery. I wanted a cell phone with a backlit display. This phone (2) has a beautiful blue backlight. I liked this phone so much I bought a kit for my elderly mother so she can see who is calling without having to strain to see the display.

1 month after buying my phone, a device is not charging. I contacted the seller but he referred me to Motorola as my warranty had expired. I tried speaking to Motorola customer service but instead of helping me fix my device they kept moving me to different departments. After answering so many questions in every department I was posted to, my problem was never resolved.
