Simple, easy to use, good price

This is Motorola, they make good radios. Nothing to hate here, good range, pretty solid, easy controls and an easy to read screen. I needed something for cross country skiing, most areas have little to no signal but this works great and makes sure nobody gets lost.

Pros
  • VibraCall Alert
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Good choice in the mountains. Nice to have a weather group

Great for the mountains, reception is surprisingly good for the mountains. Battery life is really good, lots of features I don't really use but still very good quality. I have a mic extender that you plug right in at the top. The processing quality is really good, the water cover on the connections is a bit difficult to remove in order to connect something, I think it's good, now for the cover I would recommend this

Pros
  • Includes two microphone headphones
Cons
  • Negative gift

Good performance once you figure it out

Overall we are very happy with it. We just used them on a cross country trip to keep in touch with two cars in places with poor cell coverage. The only downside is that if you're looking for basic push-to-talk operation, lots of extra features get in the way and the manual is poorly written and not very helpful. Motorola should: 1. Hire writers with better technical writing skills (I used to write consumer electronics manuals myself) and 2. Provide a quick start guide that contains only the…

Pros
  • NOAA weather radio and alerts
Cons
  • There are errors

Simple, easy to use, good value for money

This is Motorola, they make very good walkie-talkies. Nothing to hate here, good range, pretty solid, easy controls and an easy to read screen. I needed something for cross country skiing, most areas have little to no signal but this works great and makes sure nobody gets lost.

Pros
  • Dual power
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Very clear, no static charge

Works great. We use them when we travel. My husband tows a 5 wheel RV and I tow a 20 foot cargo trailer. We can talk to each other clearly and without noise. It's great when we part in heavy city traffic. Our last ride lasted 11 hours and the battery lasted that long.

Pros
  • Easy pairing
Cons
  • The list is long.

Battery life = several days

We were off-road for five days / four nights. The battery life lasted for a full five days with moderate use. The range was great. A note: use the short-range PTT button unless the other end can hear you. The long-range PTT button is close enough to be pressed lightly. If you accidentally press the long-distance button, the signal will override the power supply of another device and the communication will become incomprehensible.

Pros
  • Battery life - NiMH 800 mAh (included) - up to 12 hours
Cons
  • Modern
