As a result of using this product, I found that my internet speeds have significantly improved. The setup process was quick and easy and I have yet to experience any noticeable drop in connection. A definite upgrade from my previous modem. However, the design could be more sleek and modern.

I brought this so I wouldn't have to rent it from my cable company, but when I tried to use it it didn't work even though my cable company listed it as compatible. After speaking to my cable company, they told me that these products are often discounted because they are expired and there is no guarantee that they will work. I have emailed them since the beginning of the year but they have not refunded my money and now they are not responding. DO NOT BUY!

I've been using this modem for a year with no problems. I moved a few blocks and kept my xfinity service but was told it was no longer supported. I'm not sure how it worked properly and only now that I've moved is it suddenly unsupported. I wouldn't buy this. Check with your service provider to see if this works with their services, and ask if there are any plans to phase out older models like this.
