A good product. Adds some weight to the monitor but works well!

This product worked well. I used to attach my HP monitor to the mount, not realizing that an additional adapter is required to mount the monitor. Initially the front of the mount was weighted which caused my monitor to tip down as the pivot of this monitor is mostly off center. This is not due to the adapter, but to the design of the monitor and the pivot point of the bracket. I ended up removing the plastic caps from the bracket and tightening this pivot point. which solved my problem. Hope…

Suitable for listed HP monitors

Adapter bracket suitable for listed monitors. I would give it 5 stars out of 5 except that they should increase the size of the cutout for the cable through hole. Regular VGA and HDMI cables work, but I couldn't connect my HD-15 cable and had to switch to regular VGA. For me it was a deal killer, but it was a little frustrating. If you are using the arm attachment mechanism to provide additional support for the monitor, be sure not to use the side attached to the monitor until you are…

Get other screws, DVI and HDMI cables. Requires 90 degree adapter

. It's a good mount, I'm even more mad at HP for coming up with a poorly designed monitor. The hole in the cable bracket doesn't line up well with the HDMI or DVI connectors, so you'll need to purchase a 90 degree adapter to match the DVI and HDMI cables. You may not need an HDMI cable, but it will be tight. However, a VGA cable will suffice. However, I don't blame the people at HumanCentric for this, it really is HP's fault. Thanks to the arm, the balance of the monitor differs slightly from…

Pros
  • . Nice to use
Cons
  • . Expensive

Needed a mount to mount a pair of HP Pavilion 2311xi monitors to my office's VESA 75/100 monitor mounts and this HumanCentric mount proved overall up to the task. The only drop of bitterness: Without the stabilizing bolt and its rubber foot, there is enough space in the holder so that the monitor can wobble a lot at the slightest provocation. The design of the VESA mounts that came with my new office furniture blocks the threaded hole for the stabilizer, but I found a great and inexpensive…

Works well but bracket holes probably need adjusting

I bought this for an HP 2311x monitor. The instructions for mounting the bracket were ok, but I had to use a screwdriver that fits the hole in the bracket. I had 2 screwdrivers and both were too big for the small hole on the bracket. I don't know why the hole wasn't enlarged as using more screwdrivers shouldn't affect the stability of the mount. In addition, the bracket leaves no room for cables. I had to slide the DVI cable at an angle to fit due to the limited space between the monitor and…

It works, but there are video cabling issues

Okay, I'm a little annoyed that my monitor doesn't have VESA screw holes. In addition to the $30 monitor arm, I also need to buy a $30 VESA adapter. The adapter mount works (it's not fantastic, but it works) and it's pretty easy to install. The problem is that the oval hole in the center of the bracket is where your video cables (HDMI or DVI) should go. The bracket is too close to the monitor and/or the opening is too small. If you wiggle enough you might plug in the video cable and eventually…
