When I thought I couldn't find the perfect warm winter coat for my husband at an affordable price, I finally found what he wanted. This jacket is amazing! The lining is really warm and fluffy lined. There is a zipper on the hood that can be removed if desired. It's waterproof and has reflective sleeves for safety. My husband loves it and that tells me a lot. Cool jacket for the price!

Very comfortable to wear. nice fur hood. warm enough for a cooler day as it has some insulation unlike most raincoats. It's more of a lightweight winter coat than a raincoat, with added water resistance. I don't think it will be warm enough for a New England winter, but anything above freezing should be fine. The zip works well, no loose threads or skipped stitches, overall a well made and put together jacket that I expect will last a long time.

This is a great coat for moderately cold winter days. This is the type of coat I wear when the temperature is in the 10 to 40 degree Fahrenheit range and it's great for that temperature. To be clear, this is not a big, baggy coat to wear in -40 degrees outside. It has a soft inner layer, minimal insulation and a waterproof outer layer. Definitely not waterproof. Although the coating of the outer fabric is water-repellent, it quickly gets wet on the way from home to the garage. The outer fabric is also very light and easily gets caught in the zipper if I'm not very careful. The faux fur lining, which is much bulkier than the Dacron fill, is not good at all and nowadays it's awkward to wear over an outdoor winter coat. We ordered this for my 13 year old son who is 5'6". We chose 2x to give him some room to grow. It was a good choice for us, he's a big guy for his age! He loves to! Faux fur lining, very soft.
