MOUNTDOG Backdrop Background Chromakey Photography Review

I like the setup, nice and simple. The device is very light. The only thing I don't like is that the backgrounds are thin and cheap polyester so there are creases that are almost impossible to smooth out. I've washed, used fabric softener, used dryer sheets and ironed, but the creases are still there. You need to replace it with your fabric. Other than that, it's worth it.

Installation is simple and convenient. The device is lightweight but seems rock solid, especially when using sandbags (which are really only needed for outdoor use). Backdrops can be tumble dried on low heat with a damp towel to remove wrinkles (or use one of those travel-wear steam irons!). Great that the 3 most used colors are included. The brackets are very strong. Used for all types of indoor photos and videos. Just a good all round kit that covers most of the bases at an affordable price.

Easy to use but some hardware issues. First of all, the green screen works great even in a well-lit room. The green screen was easy to set up. and demolish, except for the side stands: it is difficult to raise or lower parts of the stand when connected to the stand to which the green canvas is attached. Bought on Prime Day like many others. The quality of the components is lower than other options. The included muslin backing is gauzy (<= 4.2 ounces of fabric) and almost looks like a mesh, light seeps through even a green screen and black backing. The stands are very flimsy - the metal brackets are very flimsy, the sliding parts don't hang and slide smoothly, the grab handles are cheap too. However, three clamps are good. much stronger stands with thicker metal braces and support bars.

My fiancé loves photoshoots with our 16 month old boy. This stand is perfect for adding a beautiful backdrop to any background. The stand is very light and easy to assemble. You can use the sandbags that come with the kit to weigh down the stand to keep it steady. Excellent green screen! Works just as advertised! It's really easy to set up and very easy to store away as it all comes together in a 24 x 6 x 6 bag. There's also the white one which is really great! I have a projector that now allows kids to easily watch home videos on white screen and it can be used for photo shoots! I originally bought this kit to add a background to my Zoom calls at work. This is great as it can be as tall as you want and as wide as you want. Perfect for my wide angle webcam. Let me be very creative online. The frame is pretty sturdy and has plenty of adjustment options to get the right height and width. Update my previous review so the item looks sturdy in the box and everything was well packed but the stand is a little flimsy they provided sandbags to help to keep him on the ground. Also, the included background sheets are much shorter than the actual frame width. If you intend to use extensions, please consider purchasing another set of each background sheet! Since it came with 3 different backgrounds I figured this would be a good choice. Setup is easy and intuitive. I tried zooming (in backgrounds and filters you can set it to green screen) and it was noticeably better with a custom background. Depending on how wide your camcorder is recording, it can be difficult to get full coverage. I had to get the background pretty close.

For a cheap background this kit worked as expected. The stands aren't as strong as I would like for an everyday studio setup, but I don't need them either. The background stick sags a bit when extended and the tripod stands are very light. Which in my case is a good feature. They are compact and easy to store and transport. I had a little problem cutting a roll on one of the backs where it widened and didn't fit the other section. I used a wrench to smooth out the cut and then they fitted…
