Great mount for the price. I have installed a 50" under my patio cover and am very happy with it. Just something to think about; the bracket only attaches to a wall stud. It comes with 3 lag bolts. Not sure if I would fit a larger TV on a stand would hang up. Also, when folded it sits about 3" to the left of the mounting screws. There are a few things to consider when choosing a location. I learned the hard way.

Installed to hang my 55 inch device. Holds up well with no problems. Make sure you drill through the stud or metal frame. Otherwise your TV may just fall off the wall! Because the brackets are universal, you'll need to find the right combination and screws to attach them to the back of your TV. This mount was very easy to install even with a drill press after I drilled the necessary holes. I installed a 43 inch Samsung on a bracket with only 4 of the shortest screws. It comes with all sorts of hardware for all the different mounting methods, saving it for future TV purchases. The range of motion is exactly what I wanted and I move it regularly. I've only had it a week so I'm hoping all this movement isn't causing excessive wear on the mount, so far not and it's very solid.

In theory it's very solid and easy to install, but there are actually a few little things that make installation a nightmare. 1. The screws are of terrible quality. The metal was instantly corroded by any tool that touched it. Obviously you need to install something like this in the bolt and it's TERRIBLE for the bolts to come loose any way you can think of. 2. I recently bought a 44 inch HD Smart TV. It's quite big but weighs almost nothing. I was satisfied with the purchase and found that in my opinion only the legs were missing.
