We have three of these at home and love them! They are very strong and love how we can customize them for the best viewing experience! The installation went well, but I realized that setting the height was a guessing game. Where we thought the TV would be on the mount it was a bit off and we had to lower it a couple of inches but after the third we were pros, good thing it has a built in spirit level. Then my daughter moved into a beautiful apartment building in Chicago and she needed one, so like all good moms, I ordered one for her! Came in the next day and her friend and serviceman assessed the situation and the serviceman said to use pry inserts on the drywall! I've already spoken to them about how and the importance of installing the mount to wall studs and NOT just installing it to drywall. And period, it's right there in the instructions, but she wanted it to be in a specific place, and they tried to please her, and guess what, they almost ripped the drywall off the wall when she got the TV wanted to put it! I told her she would have huge expenses! The kids just can't listen, they have to learn it the hard way, luckily they didn't let go of the TV entirely but enough to see it ripping the drywall but they realized very quickly that what I was doing told them was necessary! repairman? It's doubtful he could be called that since he recommended drywall nails, but I doubt he would cover the cost they would charge her for the drywall repair. Well, her TV isn't where she wanted it to be, but at least it's not falling off the wall! She loves adaptability and has learned a serious lesson! Great inexpensive braces with the flexibility to move for great TV!
