Not that bad. for accessories

They worked very well with my GH4. However, every time I try to fold them, they don't read well with my camera and can be difficult to get them to work. If they worked with any of them folded I would give 5 stars. Otherwise they work and I was able to take great pictures with them.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Factor set

Good extensions, no complaints.

extension tubes are primarily made of plastic but with metal mounts that provide a secure fit between the lens and camera. No problems with aperture and autofocus with the Olympus OMD-EM 5, even with all three tubes. The felt interior effectively absorbs/diffuses the light, the lighting looks even.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Style 90

Good extension rings for me

I used them with an Olympus E M-1 mIII and an Olympus 60mm macro lens and a 40-150mm f/2.8 Pro lens and the tubes worked fine whether I am one, two or all three together. The autofocus still worked, although I usually used focus tracking at this magnification. I was just testing them, so I didn't. They appear to be well made. A nice addition to my toolbox and they seem to work better than other brands I've read about.

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

It seems cheap but works with all my lenses. Great for close-ups

PROS:- It connects to the lens and camera so the lens talks to the camera (which is great) CONS:- Sometimes tricky to assemble- Looks and feels cheap an- plastic :(NOTE due to focal length limitations, it is not compatible with all lenses (when ordering, make sure your lens can be used with one, two or three) If this doesn't work for you, there are 2 options: you did not install it correctly or it is not compatible due to the focal length.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Has quirks

works with all three tubes (separately and as a unit) on my humble e-p1. Autofocus increases a bit indoors, but outdoors in good light it's not a problem. I just used a 16mm tube with a 45mm 1.8mm, manual focus on a tripod and took about 20 shots which were then stacked in helicon focus. The result was as sharp as my m.zuiko 60mm macro lens. I like the versatility that comes with using different lenses. If it was all metal I would give 5 stars. great value for money.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Necessary. - Accessory

They are excellent. They work with my gh4 and 14-140mm lens and I can get really close. They are also automatic or usually work in manual mode. They allow you to take very close shots. They work with all three of my lenses. Panasonic 14-140mm Olympus 75mm and Panasonic 25mm. I tried them at 25mm first and it was a bit frustrating to find the focus on auto, I switched to 14-140mm and it was like night and day. Just a tip I didn't know if you've never used them before, moving the lens an inch…

Pros
  • Can be used individually or in combination
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Information with 14-140 lens

Works as advertised. FYI, with a Lumix 14-140 lens, the whole stack can get about 1:1 with about 3/4" from the front of the lens to the subject. The most useful option for me is just a 21mm tube to be used with a 14-140 lens. This gives approximately 1/2:1 with approximately 4" to the front of the lens at 140mm. Manual focusing with the camera's digital zoom setting is useful for setting distance limits and using the distance indicator the camera to focus. Otherwise you won't know which…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Aluminum Mount
Cons
  • Drill Kit

Great Value - Lens Accessories

These small macro tubes are a good, inexpensive alternative to more expensive options. They fit my GH3 well and snugly with no lens shake or light leakage. They are easy to attach and detach to both the camera and lens. I tried it with a Panasonic H-HS12035 LUMIX GX VARIO 12-35mm/F2.8 ASPH X-Series lens and was able to get some 35mm close-ups with the smallest ring. To use longer tubes, I would need a longer lens. The picture quality is good, with no light reflection in the tube. Unlike some…
