Update: This microphone stopped working 8 days after the return deadline. Do not buy. I wrote earlier: This mic is simple enough for even a tech-savvy Luddite like me to use. These are 2 parts, both are plugged into a laptop or computer and that's a miracle, nothing else is needed to make it work. And it comes with a practical and attractive round black storage case. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

UPDATE: I ordered this in September. It worked great for a month or two. I was so happy! Well, now it doesn't work anymore. When I looked again at my order, all the photos say MOVO, just like the description, but the product I received says "BOYA" on the body and microphone and MOVO on the adapter. Bought for Zoom meetings. The microphone is small and compact and works great! There was very little information BUT with the seller's quick replies I got it working :-) I think it's plug and play for everyone. When I plug this directly into my Pi's USB port, it works great. My problem is that I have a lot of things plugged in, so I wanted the mic and speaker to connect to the hub, but none of them work from the hub. So in the base I have a mouse button, a keyboard button, a couple of flash drives, but both flash drives don't go straight to the Pi, i.e. the hub, at the same time. I liked the small mic as we used the big blue mic which was excellent but too cumbersome to keep moving around different rooms for events etc. It's small, the device works well, but the main problem is that we have USB-C ports, so an external dongle must be used to connect the device to a standard USB port. It's kind of awkward. If it were with the direct USB-C version I would give it 5 starts.

I bought this for my school Zoom meetings because I got tired of leaning right up to my laptop to be heard well as I have a rather quiet voice.
