I bought 2 boxes of 6 lamps each. I bought a new set of batteries and put them in all the lights. Of the 12 bulbs, 3 work and the other 9 do not. I took out the batteries and replaced them, but the light still doesn't work. The ones that actually work are great and give me enough light to walk around the house at night without having to turn the lights on and off. I'm disappointed and wish I had more of these but 3 out of 12 work damn bad!

I love these lights! We had to find a way to light up the indoor staircase without wires. It was the solution! They are sensitive to movement; So they light up even when people walk past them or are just a few feet away from them (which is nice)! They are battery operated and easy to install! They light up the bases of all the stairs well (our stairs are dark)! Battery compartments do not require a screwdriver; So when the batteries run out, it's a lot easier to swap them out! Good price!

This is salvation. I used them in my grandmother's bedroom and bathroom who had late stage Alzheimer's. I installed about six of these and as soon as her feet hit the floor next to her bed a light came on in front of her so she could see her way to the bathroom. I set them up so I went to the bathroom to turn on the new ones. Then I placed a couple of them in the opposite direction as she exited the closet and returned to her bed. So glad I found her.

I have installed 5 of these bulbs and have successfully replaced batteries in 2 of them. I couldn't get 3 of these to work again after changing the battery. I checked, the batteries are fresh, correct size and voltage so I'm frustrated. I'll try to contact the seller as I don't see any troubleshooting tips that I haven't tried (and at least one other person seems to have experienced the "stops working" issue after changing the battery). ).

Installed carpet in our new house and picked up old hardwood floors. The dark wood made the stairs difficult to see in low light, especially when descending. I bought it about a year ago. The first set I received was damaged so I had to exchange it. The second set went well. They work pretty well. They give off good light and the sensors are sensitive, perfect for a dark hallway at night. BUT they just don't last. It seems that removing and replacing the batteries ruins them. These lights are really great! We have 2 toddlers who sleep upstairs with us. Our stairs are very dark and oddly small We use them when we need to go downstairs at night (while rocking a sleeping baby) They're very bright (in the area they're aimed at and the motion detection is VERY sensitive, they're lit long enough , just the right time. The reason I gave 3 stars is that 2 of the 6 bulbs just stopped working despite changing the battery. 2 more work but are very weak even with new batteries.

They usually showed up when I was moving, but not always unless I was within a foot or two, while others showed up at a reasonable distance (about 5 feet). I installed them with screws as other reviews suggest I would rather patch and paint over small holes than repair torn paper/drywall texture patches. They fit well and look beautiful. I bought three (3) of these for the ladder kit, put new batteries in and attached them to the stairwell wall with double sided tape following the instructions that came with them. One of the lights works fine, but the other two are dead. The two bad ones don't do anything at all, so the bottom line for me is a pretty low overall performance rating for this product.
