Super cute for electronic pets

I ordered two of these for my class to choose from, thinking they were regular Potato Heads that could also talk. You can swap hands and hats, but with the talking mechanism you lose storage space in the back. It's fun to get him to talk and then take off the magnet mouth and let him mumble the rest of the sentence. Tip: If it's too loud, simply mask off the speaker holes! A coat or two should work and tell the kids they'll break it if they remove the tape (not true, but it'll keep you sane).

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Toddler prefers old school potato head

Bought this for my 2 year old who loves Toy Story. She liked it at first but hasn't played with it for a long time - she went back to her original Mr. Potato head that she had. I think the reason is that not all parts of this potato head are detachable and she likes to detach and reattach body parts. Also, this potato head's mouth is attached with a magnet that detaches. easy. And it's not that easy to put it back on (you have to move your mouth until you find the magnet and they connect).

  • Pleasant

No body space but very cute toy

My son loves his potato head. It has some others and we can switch functions (just not the mouth part). I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 just because there is no storage space. This potato head doesn't have room to store the body, so we'll just keep it in a plastic zipper in our mouth. It would be great if his mouth could be placed in a safer place as it is a piece of jewelry as the moving parts are detachable (so easy to lose). The potato head wouldn't work without a mouth. Although the toy…

Sweet Mr. Potato Head

Bought this for my grandkids. These are 1 and 4. There is a magnet on the talking mouth. You need to move the mouth around the face until it sticks to the face. I think my 4 year old piano will be more useful with this than a 1 year old. I hope she's not afraid of it. But the packaging it came in was great. All parts were there. And there's no storage like the original Mr. Potato Head either. Because there the batteries run out, but the shoes are not taken off. Just hands, ears, nose, eyes and…
